AMY RODGERS
AMY RODGERS
AMY RODGERS, First Grade Associate Teacher. Miss Rodgers loves first grade and The Healdsburg School! She was born and raised in Healdsburg and graduated from THS in 2013. Amy is very active in the Ag community and 4-H and currently helps her mom run the Lytton Springs 4-H club. Amy attended College in Phoenix, Arizona, but missed Sonoma County so much that she came back to teach.
One of Amy’s most fun memories at THS was when the 7th and 8th grade classes got to go on a trip to China! SheI had so much fun trying all of the food and practicing Mandarin. Mr. H even came on the trip too! He took us on a hike on the Great Wall of China, but she got tired and sat down to eat some Oreos. (But don’t tell him, let’s keep it between us!)
The Healdsburg School taught Amy how to be an independent thinker and a hard worker. She was very inspired by the teachers and decided that she wanted to become a teacher too. A couple of those teachers are still here! Believe it or not, She was in Ms. Perrine and Mrs. Smith’s Math class!
Amy looks forward to rejoining the THS community and learning about all of the amazing things that have happened since her time here as a student. She is ready to take on the challenge of distance learning and looks forward to seeing all of the students’ smiling faces.
