Our First Grade students did a deep dive in their IB unit “Where We Are in Place and Time” as they explored airplanes and helicopters at the Pacific Coast Air Museum. The excitement was palpable as students took turns sitting in the cockpit of a Cessna T-37 Tweet. Upon returning to campus, students created art inspired by what they observed at the museum.
