LAURA KIRK LEE
LAURA KIRK LEE, is a Marketing and Sales leader who has been working in the wine industry for 22 years. Originally from Oregon, Laura and her husband Brian moved to San Francisco for “an adventure” shortly after getting married in 2001. Inured to the sunshine, they stayed in Northern California, making their home in Cloverdale in 2005. Laura earned a B.A. in English Literature and Music Performance from the University of Oregon, and her work experience spans the gamut from running the day-to-day operations of a small, family-owned, luxury winery to overseeing a broad portfolio of wine brands at several top-ten California producers. She has served on the board at the Monterey County Vintners and Growers Association and held leadership roles with the Santa Barbara County Vintners, New Zealand Winegrowers, and Wines of Chile. Additionally, Laura was a mezzo-soprano with the Portland Symphonic Choir (1997 – 2001) and the San Francisco Symphony Chorus (2001 – 2006). Brian and Laura are parents to Kennedy and Emerson, but Alumnus of The Healdsburg School. When not working or shuttling the kids to swim practice and music lessons, Laura enjoys running, hiking, cooking, and tending to a small homestead with an overgrown garden, motley orchard, scraggly vineyard, sweet old cat, two noisy parakeets, one tuneful cockatiel, assorted fish, six happy chickens, and a very curious rabbit.
