AMY CUNNINGHAM, Middle School | Sixth Grade Language Arts teacher.  Amy has been supporting our LA program over the past few years.  She stepped in as a teacher in the 2017-18 school year, and last year she worked with Mrs. Winter in 6-8 Language Arts. Amy holds a BA in English from the University of Michigan and an MA in Education from Truman State University. Amy has taught in public high schools and is an accomplished freelance writer.  She brings a passion for supporting young writers in finding their voices and telling their stories.  She will also serve as a co-advisor for Sixth Grade.

While not spending time with students at THS, Amy loves spending time outside with her family and friends, hiking the hills of Sonoma County, being on the water, playing with her animals, and reading good books.  She also loves talking with people and hearing their stories.
