Second grade Associate Teacher, Heather Reichel, joined The Healdsburg School in 2023. Heather grew up in San Luis Obispo and graduated from American University with a BA in Elementary Education. Following college, she worked as a Director of Education tutoring students and developing individual education programs. She also has earned a Master’s in Education in Guidance and Counseling and a Juris Doctor. In addition, Heather has worked as a Behavior Analyst and an Enrichment Writing teacher. Heather believes school should be a place where children feel free to explore, discover, and thrive. In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and coaching volleyball.
