Mandarin teacher, ITING CHEN is a native Mandarin speaker from Kaohsiung, a large city in the south of Taiwan.  She moved to the United States in 2006 and currently lives in Santa Rosa with her husband, Eric Chiu and two lovely daughters. Iting has more than ten years of teaching experience, including five years teaching Mandarin, English, Science, and Music in Taiwan and six years teaching Mandarin at Bel Aire Magnet School in Napa, and nine years at The Healdsburg School. Iting has a degree in Veterinary Science from National Taiwan University, as well as a teaching credential from National Pingtung University in Taiwan. She also has a certificate from the School of Continuing Education, Chinese Culture University in Taiwan to teach Chinese as a Second Language. She is passionate about teaching and enjoys working with students from multiple backgrounds and encouraging them to explore the world in different languages.
