JEANETTE INNESS
JEANETTE INNESS
Kindergarten Teacher, JEANETTE INNESS, began teaching at The Healdsburg School in 2009. She grew up in Sonoma County and holds a BA in Liberal Arts along with a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Sonoma State University. Before THS she served as the summer camp director at the popular “Camp Wa-Tam”, substitute taught in grades Kindergarten through high school and worked with special needs students at a speech-language pathology clinic. Jeanette loves to infuse technology, creative arts, theater, and movement into her classroom. She knows a child’s education is the most valuable thing, and she enjoys working with children to help them reach for their dreams through their education. She believes the most amazing thing as a teacher is to see or hear one of her students apply the skills that she has taught them and see the excitement on their faces. Together with a team of amazing and creative teachers, she is committed to providing your family with a loving and developmentally sound foundation for a lifetime of learning. When she is not at school, Jenette can be found exploring the Bay Area with her husband and two young sons, teaching a Zumba class, or eating seafood at the beach. Jeanette also serves on the board for the Active 20-30 #205 Healdsburg Club, which is a service organization that raises money for underprivileged youth in our local community.
