KILEY CLARK KERBEL
KILEY CLARK KERBEL, First Grade Teacher, has been in education since 2007. Kiley is passionate about supporting students to make real-life connections and to help students develop their own, personal love of learning.
As an educator, Kiley is enthusiastic about bringing hands-on science into the classroom and making connections between life, learning, and across domains. “Being able to be part of a child’s journey is incredibly special.” Kiley believes the early years are some of the most important and that first grade should honor children, be fun-filled and hands-on, and most importantly, first-grade should always be magical.
Kiley completed her Masters in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning at Sonoma State University, with an emphasis in Collaborative Learning and Best Literacy Practices. Her undergraduate degree includes Linguistics, with an emphasis in Childhood Development and French from San Diego State University. Kiley also holds a Site Supervisor Early Childhood and Teaching English as a Second Language teaching certificates. Before the Healdsburg School, Kiley taught at the Presentation School and in Bennett Valley Union School District.
