TANYA BELLO
TANYA BELLO, Dance Teacher, graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a BFA in Dance and soon after became the Assistant & Liaison (at the Library of Congress) to the Artistic Director of the Martha Graham Co. She taught and danced professionally with companies in New York City, Washington, DC and Italy before moving to the Bay Area in 2005. Since then Tanya has worked with numerous dance companies in the Bay Area and was a soloist for Garrett/ Moulton Productions for 7 years. She has taught contemporary dance at ODC, Sonoma State University, LINES Ballet, and Dominican University until most recently, when she became the National Cultural Director under the Ground Floor Project program for Wood Partners and Wood Residential. She is also the founder, choreographer, and artistic director of Project. B. Dance and mother to Kai. Tanya is thrilled to be working alongside the staff and teaching dance to students of The Healdsburg School.
