This week THS students celebrated the Chinese New Year welcoming the Year of the Water Tiger. They were busy in Mandarin making papercuts and practicing their calligraphy skills to write Mandarin spring couplets expressing good wishes for the upcoming year. The festivities were kicked off at Tuesday’s Community meeting as First Grade paraded through the crowd dressed as a long red New Year’s dragon bringing good luck for the year ahead.
